Extends UBM Medica's drug information systems business in Australia
United Business Media Plc today announces that its healthcare division UBM Medica has acquired the Australian Prescription Products Guide for A$1m (£0.4m).
The Australian Prescription Products Guide is a key drug information brand for the Australian pharmacy market. This acquisition will extend the reach of UBM Medica's drug information systems business, which is currently focused on medical practitioners, into the pharmacy market.
The acquisition is subject to the approval of the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC).
