(Nov 25 2009) CMPMedica is delighted to announce that Pulse has won the New Business News Journalist of the Year Award.

Pulse reporter Gareth Iacobucci has picked up a major award at the annual Periodical Training Council awards. Gareth, who has worked at Pulse for two years, won New Business News Journalist of the Year at the awards, with the judges praising his impressive investigative work. He was also placed on a final shortlist of four for the overall title of New Journalist of the Year, which covered all business and consumer titles.

 

Richard Hoey, editor of Pulse, said: 'I'm delighted for Gareth. He marries a flair for investigative journalism with good old fashioned hard work, and has been rewarded with some of Pulse's best scoops of the year. This award is thoroughly deserved.'

 

Gareth Iacobucci said: 'I am delighted to receive this award on behalf of myself and the whole Pulse team. I feel very humbled to have been acknowledged in this way by the PPA, and believe this serves as a great testament to all of our hard work over the past year.'
