(Jul 30 2009) UBM Medica is pleased to announce that Ian Heslop will be joining its UK business as Business Development Director.

Ian, who has 20 years experience in healthcare publishing, will be responsible for UBM Medica UK's medical projects business and will also look after print advertising sales. He has previously worked for Elsevier as Director of Pharmaceutical Information Sales and as Publishing Director of Reed Business information's healthcare portfolio.

UBM Medica UK is part of United Business Media's international publishing division and publishes the weekly magazine Pulse, which has been the leading GP title for nearly 50 years. Ian will take up his new position on 15th September 2009.
